OUR STUDENT'S CURRICULUM​

St. John the Baptist School strives to create a learning environment that is safe, faith-filled, and academically challenging. The curriculum adopted by the Department of Catholic Schools beginning in Transitional Kindergarten and continuing through Eighth Grade, includes the following areas:
· Religion (Including Family Life)
· Language Arts (Reading/Literature, Language/Grammar, Spelling, Handwriting)
· Mathematics
· Social Studies
· Science
· Art
· Physical Education (Including Health / Safety)
· Music
We also have a music teacher that not only teaches music during the school day to all students, but also offer musical instrument lessons after school. ​Our Physical Education Teacher has PE classes for all students and we also have a strong after school sports and cheer program. Religion Curriculum
​A complete Catholic Education is much more than just books, tests, and reports. At St. John’s we strive to provide our students with a well-rounded education and all Students must also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of learning experiences if we really want to help them reach the potential.

Religion is taught in every grade such that our Catholic faith and character development permeates throughout every aspect of school life. ​St. John's students are offered a variety of opportunities in the areas of Sports and Physical Education, Academic Competition, and various Clubs and Student Organizations.
